Before founding ILIP in 2024, Dr. Bhattarai held several influential roles, including his tenure at Suburban Lung Associates, where he served as an Interventional Pulmonologist and Critical Care Specialist for nearly six years. His leadership extended into academia as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the future of pulmonary care. His academic and clinical influence spans a range of distinguished positions, including his fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology at Chicago Chest Center and Critical Care at Montefiore Health System.
